The thermostat operates on a principle that varies the pressure of the working medium within its bellows, capillary, and sensor according to the temperature of the controlled object. To ensure effective performance:
- Keep the sensor away from vibrations and ensure a minimum capillary radius of 20mm.
- The temperature can be adjusted by turning the cam; clockwise reduces the temperature, while counterclockwise increases it.
- Use the defrost button as needed to temporarily halt refrigeration.
- Ensure power is cut off if the unit will not be in use for an extended period.
