Load Profile Monitoring System (LPMS) is trackside mounted equipment to monitor load profiles of freight wagons. It measures and flags any object hanging, extending or protruding out of structure gauge limits. In case any out-of-gauge is detected, the system will raise an alarm to alert train driver and CTC.
