The M240-Remote I/O Module is a cutting-edge signal conditioner designed for robust performance in industrial applications. This 4-channel discrete input module features RS485 communication, providing essential isolation between each channel of inputs, power, and network circuits. Adhering to the industry-standard RS-485 Modbus RTU protocol, the module supports both AC and DC power sources with nonpolarized, diode-coupled terminals. It functions not only as an independent signal isolator with communication capabilities but can also be combined with the MWG1 to form a comprehensive remote I/O Data Acquisition System (DAS) that supports both MODBUS RTU and MODBUS TCP protocols.
