The PD flow meter, specifically the M series, is an advanced positive displacement meter designed for accurate liquid measurement in both transfer and process control applications. Its innovative design ensures ease of maintenance and versatility across various uses. The meter features a robust housing that houses two bladed displacement rotors and a central single blocking rotor, all moving in perfect synchronization within three cylindrical bores, eliminating metal-to-metal contact to enhance durability.
Each rotor is meticulously supported by bearing plates, with shafts protruding for optimal functionality. The alternating motion of the bladed displacement rotors through the two half-cylinder bores, combined with the unique operation of the blocking rotor, creates a continuous capillary seal. This design separates the unmetered upstream product from the metered downstream product, ensuring precision and reliability.
Equipped with a timing gear, the blocking rotor gear operates at half the RPM of the displacement rotors, providing consistent measurements. The PD flow meter is tailored for a range of liquefied applications, ensuring that your metering needs are met with the highest standards of accuracy.
