Description

Hollow composite insulator is a state-of-the-art electrical insulator designed for high voltage applications. Comprising three primary components—a flange, an epoxy glass insulating pipe, and an external insulating sheath—this insulator offers exceptional durability and reliability. Additionally, the hollow composite insulator boasts a lightweight construction, making it incredibly convenient for erection, transportation, and installation, and reducing the overall weight of high-voltage switchgear by up to four times compared to traditional porcelain insulators.

The external surface of the insulator provides excellent resistance to heat, corrosion, and electrical tracking. Its internal wall features a heat-proof layer made of willemite, which is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -45℃ to 100℃, ensuring consistent performance in extreme conditions. Willemite also offers the added advantage of absorbing ultraviolet radiation, further extending the insulator’s lifespan.
