The STC Series 3-Phase A.C. Synchronous Generator is an essential power source designed for various environments, including urban areas, rural locations, worksites, and remote mountain or pasture lands. This generator provides reliable electric power for lighting and serves as a backup power source in emergencies.
Engineered for durability and efficiency, the generator features a drip-proof design with a rotary field type and employs a harmonic excitation system for easy operation and maintenance. As a three-phase, four-wire generator utilizing star connection with a neutral point, it delivers a rated line voltage of 400V, a phase voltage of 230V, and operates at a frequency of 50Hz with a power factor of 0.8 (lag). Customizable options are available for 60Hz operation and other voltage requirements.
The STC generator can be coupled to a prime mover either directly or via a V-belt, providing flexibility in installation. It maintains stable voltage output, swiftly returning to normal operating conditions after sudden load changes. Additionally, it can directly start an unloaded squirrel cage induction motor without the need for starting devices.
