The LDB mech-electrical compound driven rig, RT of which is driven independently by AC motor while the drawworks and mud pump are driven by diesel engine through chain or cardan shaft. By adopting RT driven independently by AC motor, it has solved the problem that the RT speed and mud pump stroke can not be adjusted separately for the mechanical rig. The diesel engine power the drilling rig through compound gear box through universal shafts. The drawworks of LDB rig has four forward and two reverse shift, and own hydraulic disc brake as the main brake and eddy-current brake as the auxiliary brake, and can equip with auxiliary driven system which can be used for auto bit feeding and emergency operation. Auto bit feeding adopt digital control to provide smooth trip in and better well hole and increase the mechanical bit feeding, decrease the down hole accident. Equipped with driller’s cabin, the drilling parameters can be displayed on the touch screen. Equipped with instrumentation system to achieve display, storage and print of real time drilling parameters. It is optional that the compound gear box can be used to drive energy-saving generator.
