Metro Vehicles for Kunming Metro Project, Phase I

Kunming metro project, phase I, consists of part of Metro Line 1 and part of Metro Line 2 in railway network planning, with a overall length of 42km. B-type vehicles are adopted, with 6-car train formation and powered by DC750V contact rail. Forty trains (i.e. 240 vehicles) with totally aluminum alloy carbody are procured for the first batch, with maximum running speed of 100km/h. The train adopts all-welded aluminum alloy V-shaped carbody technology, pneumatic brake technology based on wheel disk brake, completely localized traction system, network control system and driving system
