Ling Ao Nuclear Power Station Phase II project is a pioneering initiative representing the first independent brand nuclear power technology demonstration project utilizing the CPR1000 model. This project is a critical step for the State Nuclear Power and Guangdong hospital, aiming to expedite the complete control of the conventional island of a second-generation, one million kilowatt-class nuclear power plant. It leverages independent technology to enhance the design and operational capabilities of nuclear power plants. The project began in 2005, with expectations to be finalized and commence commercial operations between 2010 and 2011, focusing on the development of two operational units.
