Description

The North Hydropower Station, strategically located north of the Mekong River in Oudomxay province, Laos, is an innovative run-of-river power plant. This project is part of a cascade of hydropower stations designed to harness the natural flow of water while minimizing environmental impact. With a normal water level of 340 meters, the station features 15 stream units that collectively provide an impressive installed capacity of 855 MW.
