Description

The China and Burma crude oil pier reservoir is a strategically located facility on Langley Island, near the Bay of Bengal. This water supply reservoir plays a crucial role in supporting the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline terminal. Designed with the local community in mind, it ensures a sustainable water supply for local people, livestock, and agricultural irrigation. With a total reservoir capacity of 810,000 m3 and an adjustment capacity of 550,000 m3, it is engineered to meet the demands of both the energy sector and local water needs. The EPC contract for this project was signed in February 2011, with completion anticipated in November 2011.
