The Public Buildings collection showcases a series of remarkable architectural achievements, each defining the skyline and functionality of urban spaces. This collection includes notable structures such as the Shanghai International Gymnastic Center, completed in October 1997, boasting an impressive floor area of 46,000 m². This award-winning facility received the Second Prize of Shanghai Outstanding Design in 1998 and the Best Science and Technology Achievement Award during the Eighth National Games.
Another highlight is the Shanghai International Convention Center, completed in August 1999. Its innovative spherical structure features a diameter of 50 meters, exemplifying cutting-edge design with its single-layer reticulated shell. The Jiading District Swimming Pool, completed in March 2005, spans 5,000 m² and earned the Third Prize of Excellent Engineering Design from the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry in 2006.
Additionally, the Baosteel Sports Center, completed in December 2005, covers 15,000 m² and received the Third Prize of Excellent Engineering Design in 2007. Lastly, the Shanghai Yangpu District Stadium, completed in November 1989, features a floor area of 9,000 m² and was awarded the First Prize of Shanghai Municipal Excellent Design in 1991.
