Cherrystone Power Cable is engineered with a robust Aluminum Alloy conductor encased in a durable XLPE sheath, making it ideal for various electrical applications. This versatile cable typically features three cores plus a neutral wire, which can be either bare or insulated. Notably, it supports a street light configuration of 25mm². Available voltage ratings include 600/1000V, 635/11kV, and 12.7/22kV, with options for 1, 2, or 3 core Aluminum Alloy cable in aerial bunched configurations.
The construction includes:
- Stranded Aluminum/Aluminum Alloy conductor
- PE or XLPE insulation
- ACSR, AAAC, Galvanized steel wire Messenger wire
- Three power cores with standard aluminum conductors insulated with XLPE
- Optional sheath lighting aluminum conductor with XLPE insulation
- One messenger Al-alloy conductor (bare or covered)
The messenger wire serves dual purposes: acting as a load-bearing wire and functioning as an earth or neutral conductor. This cable is designed for use at a voltage of 600V phase-to-phase or less, with conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90°C for XLPE insulated conductors.
