The 12kV Permanent Magnet M.V. Vacuum Contactor (CKG3) is a highly efficient and reliable electrical device designed for medium voltage applications. Constructed with a robust electrical insulating frame and a durable metal base, this contactor features an advanced electromagnetic system that employs a permanent magnet for enhanced performance. Key components such as the shaft, crank arm, power modules, auxiliary switches, and vacuum interrupters work in harmony to ensure optimal functionality.

This innovative contactor operates seamlessly: when control voltage is applied to the electromagnetic coil, the armature activates, causing the crutch to rotate and open the main contact within the vacuum interrupter. This process is complemented by the auxiliary switch, which disconnects the power to the electromagnetic coil, enabling permanent magnet maintenance. Upon interruption of the control circuit, the energy stored in the power module is discharged to the electromagnetic coil for degaussing, ensuring that the main contact disconnects effectively with the assistance of an opening spring.
