As a resistive load bank—also known as AC Load Bank, Dummy Load Bank, or Generator Load Bank—this device simulates real-life resistive loads, providing a comprehensive testing regime for power supplies ranging from 1kW to 60MW. The load is generated by converting electrical energy to heat via power resistors, making it essential for testing and maintaining various systems, including engine generators, storage battery systems, UPS systems, inverters, ground power units, auxiliary power units, aircraft power generators, wind generators, and hydro generators.

Available in both stationary and portable configurations, the resistive load bank can be equipped with lifting rings and castors for easy transport. Larger load banks, typically above 1250KW, are constructed based on ISO container specifications, with options for special finishes like custom paint colors and stainless steel casings.
