The STC Series 3-Phase A.C. Synchronous Generator is engineered for versatile use, ideal for town, countryside, worksites, and mountain or pasture lands. It serves as a reliable electric power source for lighting and can also act as a backup power solution in emergencies. This generator features a drip-proof design with a rotary field type and a harmonic excitation system that ensures easy operation and maintenance. With three-phase four-wire configuration utilizing a star connection with a neutral point, it delivers a rated line voltage of 400V and a phase voltage of 230V at a frequency of 50Hz with a power factor of 0.8 (lag). The generator can also be configured for 60Hz and other voltages as required. It can be coupled directly with a prime mover or via a V-belt, allowing for both right and reverse continuous rotation at the rated speed. Notably, the generator can start an unloaded squirrel cage induction motor directly without any starting devices.
