Description

The AM5 Series Protection Relay is an advanced microcomputer protection measurement and control device designed for industrial power systems. This versatile relay is engineered to provide a comprehensive set of protection features tailored for applications in power, water conservancy, transportation, petroleum, chemical, coal, metallurgy, and various other industries. With its capability to operate at voltage levels of 35kV and below, it ensures robust protection and measurement for user terminal substations.

Equipped with 8 current inputs, 4 voltage inputs, 16 digital inputs (DI), and 10 digital outputs (DO), this relay offers extensive monitoring and control capabilities. The auxiliary power supply is adaptable to multiple configurations, including AC220V, DC220V, DC110V, and AC110V, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of power systems. Communication is facilitated through 2 RS485 serial ports, supporting IEC 60870-5-101, IEC60870-5-103, and Modbus-RTU protocols, alongside an RS232 port for user updates and a GPS port for precise timing.

Additionally, the AM5 Series stores over 200 sequence of event records, more than 400 system logs, and retains context records for over 10 seconds of tripping events, providing valuable insights for troubleshooting and analysis. Its powerful graphic programmable logic feature allows for customized programming to meet specific operational needs.
