Description
The CEE 200A, (25)35kV Grounding Elbow connector is an essential component for testing cables and underground apparatus in deadfront underground systems. Engineered for efficiency, it leverages the fault close-in characteristics of loadbreak terminators, making it a preferred choice among professionals. This fully insulated and shielded elbow is constructed from high-quality, peroxide-cured EPDM rubber, ensuring durability and reliability.
It can be utilized independently or in conjunction with a 200A, 25kV Class rated Loadbreak Bushing Insert, Rotatable Feedthru, allowing for visible grounding of cables, transformers, and switchgear. By placing a grounding elbow at each end of a cable, it effectively isolates and grounds the cable while protecting bushings from moisture and contamination during grounding operations.
Included with the grounding elbow is a 2-metre length of 600 volt insulated, flexible stranded copper ground cable, complete with a copper connector and a tin-plated copper probe featuring an arc follower tip. Always ensure that the circuit is de-energized before use, and utilize a hot-stick to attach the grounding elbow to the mating apparatus.
