The DC (SCR) RIG SERIES is a state-of-the-art DC-drive electric drilling rig designed for enhanced operational efficiency and precision in drilling applications. This innovative rig features independent DC speed control for the drawworks, rotary table, and mud pump, allowing for optimal performance across various drilling conditions. The drawworks is equipped with one or more DC motors, utilizing a reliable chain drive mechanism with 4 forward and 4 reverse gears. Its advanced hydraulic disc brake and electromagnetic eddy current brake (or pneumatic disc brake) ensure maximum safety and control.
The rotary table operates independently via a DC motor, offering 2 forward and 2 reverse gears to adapt to diverse drilling requirements. The optional digital control auto-bit-feed system, driven by an AC-VF motor, enables drillers to execute operations with optimal drilling parameters through an intuitive touch screen interface. This functionality not only improves well bore quality but also significantly reduces the labor intensity for drillers, ultimately enhancing work efficiency.
To ensure reliability, the DC electric drive system employs a digital control system with auto failure monitoring, providing essential protection functions. The rig also includes a well-designed driller’s cabin that features a touch screen for parameter display, making operation straightforward and efficient. Additionally, the comprehensive drilling parameters instrument system allows for the display, storage, and printing of vital drilling data, enhancing the overall drilling process.
