Additional Information
Usage:
- Select the appropriate length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance according to the measurement object and scope.
- Attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, reset the secondary instrument to zero, and begin measurement.
- Insert the thermocouple into molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or scum. Remove it immediately after obtaining results, ensuring it doesn’t soak for more than 5 seconds to prevent damage.
- Replace the used thermocouple with a new one and allow a few minutes for preparation before the next measurement.
Transport and Storage:
Handle with care during assembly and disassembly. Keep the thermocouples dry during transport and store them in cases in warehouses with relative humidity below 80%. Ensure good air circulation, free from harmful gases that could cause corrosion.
