DUMMY LOAD BANK is engineered for durability and convenience, making it an essential tool for generator load testing. It features heavy-duty casters for easy mobility, allowing for seamless transportation. The unit utilizes low heat emitting resistive elements to reduce heat conduction, ensuring efficient operation. Its metal-sheathed elements, crafted from high-grade nickel resistance wire in a U-type form, are complemented by built-in heavy-duty industrial fan blowers that serve as a cooling system. These blowers can be powered internally by the dummy load itself or by an external power source.
With an incremental load testing feature accessible via 8 switches and a variable load testing feature using a rheostat, users can achieve precise power settings. The unit is equipped with digital display meters for monitoring voltage, amperes, frequency, and power factor (optional). The wide test voltage accommodates fluctuations of ±15% for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz operations. Additionally, the convenient termination of load cables through a terminal block and a NEMA Type 1 enclosure further enhance the product’s usability. Eye hooks are fitted on the top for easy lifting of the dummy load.
