Description

The Kiriion Hydropower Station is a significant infrastructure project located in Cambodia, designed to harness the power of water to generate electricity. As a first-level hydroelectric power station, it plays a crucial role in the country’s energy landscape. The project includes extensive survey design and encompasses the repair of the hydroelectric power station, the power transmission line to Phnom Penh, and the transformer substation extension. With an installed capacity of 12MW (2×6MW) and a total reservoir storage capacity of 9,190,000 m³, the Kiriion Hydropower Station is engineered to produce an annual power rate of 62.5 GWh, ensuring a reliable energy supply for the region.
