Additional Information
Each phase of conductor at the circuit breaker passes through a zero-sequence current transformer, which connects to an electromagnetic tripper. Under normal conditions, the output voltage remains zero. However, if the leakage current rises, the output voltage increases, triggering the electromagnetic release to disconnect the power, thereby ensuring effective leakage protection.
