Description

LM-2D is a highly reliable launch vehicle developed by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) since February 1990. Designed to meet the increasing demands for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) satellite launches, the LM-2D features a payload fairing with a diameter of 3350mm. This innovative rocket has successfully integrated an attitude control engine for its second stage, enabling the discharge of remaining propellant and efficient de-orbiting capabilities. Its mature technology and versatility make it a preferred choice for a wide range of satellite missions, primarily launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and other facilities across China.
