Mounted on the rear three-point hitch of a tractor, the LB log branch splitter operates via a cardan drive with an overload clutch set at a torque of 1600 Nm. This safety feature ensures that chipping ceases if an excessively strong branch is inserted, protecting both the tractor and the branch logger from overload.
