Description
The Metro Vehicles for the Kunming Metro Project, Phase I, are designed to enhance urban transit in Kunming, featuring state-of-the-art technology and efficient performance. This project includes sections of Metro Line 1 and Metro Line 2, contributing to an extensive railway network that spans 42 kilometers. The vehicles adopted are B-type, comprising a 6-car train formation powered by a DC750V contact rail. A total of forty trains, equating to 240 vehicles, are constructed with a robust aluminum alloy carbody, ensuring durability and lightweight performance. With a maximum running speed of 100 km/h, these trains utilize advanced all-welded aluminum alloy V-shaped carbody technology, incorporate pneumatic brake systems based on wheel disk brakes, and feature a fully localized traction system alongside a sophisticated network control and driving system.
