Model HTK-07C02 RFID Reader in Association with VEIC HABD System
Inquire NowDescription
HTK-07C02 RFID Reader is a specialized device designed to integrate seamlessly with the VEIC HTK-499 and THDS Hot Axle Box Detector System. This advanced RFID reader allows for real-time reporting of wagon numbers in conjunction with bearing temperature data, enabling the HABD system to efficiently identify any hot bearings by both wagon and axle numbers.
The HTK-07C02 features a compact design, fitting within a 1U height, allowing it to be installed in the same cabinet as the VEIC systems without requiring additional space. As wagons pass, the reader captures and processes wagon numbers while simultaneously measuring bearing temperatures, ensuring accurate data correlation. This integral setup minimizes the risk of errors that could occur if data were matched at a later stage.
Environmentally conscious, the HTK RFID reader activates radio frequency only during the passage of a train, entering a sleep mode when the track is vacant. Built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, it is resistant to electromagnetic interference, extreme temperatures, and physical shocks.

Additional Information
The HTK-07C02 RFID Reader operates by being triggered when a train approaches, transmitting radio frequencies through its antenna. As the train passes, energized tags relay information back to the reader, which processes and sends the data to the HABD system for real-time analysis. Installation is straightforward, involving the secure connection of the RFID reader to the antenna and the detector computer with appropriate cables, ensuring all connections are properly protected and fastened.
