Description

The Myanmar DAPEIN (I) Hydropower Station is a significant energy facility located in the Kachin State of northeast Myanmar, strategically positioned along the Taiping River near the border with Burma. This state-of-the-art power plant features a total installed capacity of 240MW, comprising four stand-alone hydropower units, each with a capacity of 60MW. Developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) agreement with the Government of Myanmar, the project is a collaboration with the Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. of the China Datang Group, marking a critical investment in the region’s energy infrastructure.
