This alternator features an optional auxiliary winding or phase combination excitation system, allowing it to withstand short-circuit currents. With a permanent magnet generator system available, it guarantees constant excitation under all conditions.

Equipped with an advanced automatic voltage regulation system, the NF184 ensures stable operation even in the most demanding environments. The innovative design includes a reorganization of the first twelve terminal blocks to meet diverse voltage requirements and a standard 2/3 pitch winding that minimizes neutral currents, facilitating parallel operation with other generators.
