Description
Located north of the Mekong River mainstream in Laos, this hydropower station represents a significant milestone in the development of cascade hydropower projects. Designed as a run-of-river power plant in Oudomxay province, it operates at a normal water level of 340m. The power station is equipped with 15 consistent stream units, boasting a total installed capacity of 855MW. It not only serves as a major electricity generator but also emphasizes shipping and fish passage, enhancing the utilization efficiency of hydropower resources.
