Oil Seeds Preparation Equipment: Kernel & Shell Separator
Cooking oil is an essential part of our daily diet and health. The oil seeds preparation process involves cleaning and conditioning seeds to make them suitable for mechanical pressing. This equipment is designed to handle various seeds including groundnut (peanut), palm nut, sesame, sunflower seeds, cotton seeds, soybean, canola, and maize germ. The preparation process typically includes cleaning, crushing/decorticating, flaking, and cooking before the seeds are fed into the press.
The central component of this system is the oil press/expeller, which is available in a wide range of capacities from 50 tons per day (t/d) to 300 t/d for feedstock pre-pressing and from 5 t/d to 150 t/d for full pressing. The equipment ensures efficient and high-quality oil extraction.
The workflow of the oil seeds preparation system is as follows: Silo → Cleaner → Dehusker → Kernel & Shell Separator → Cooker → Oil Press.
