The Optical Cable – Layer Stranded is designed for outdoor communication purposes, featuring a robust construction that includes a metallic strength member and a loose-tube layer-stranded design. It is encased in either a laminated steel-polyethylene or aluminum-polyethylene sheath, ensuring durability and reliability in various environmental conditions. This cable’s unique stranding process and precise excess length control contribute to its excellent mechanical and environmental properties, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
Additionally, the cable is equipped with a moisture barrier and armor that enhances its pressure resistance, while a high-strength phosphatized wire central strength member and effective water-blocking compound improve its performance against longitudinal water ingress.
