The Polymer Insulator is an advanced solution for electrical transmission, designed for both tension and suspension applications. Constructed with a robust composite structure, it features a core rod available in either ECR type or FRP type, encapsulated in a durable silicone rubber housing. This state-of-the-art design not only ensures high performance but also enhances reliability in various environmental conditions.
The insulator is equipped with metal end fittings made from #45 forged steel, hot-dip galvanized to a thickness of ≥86μm, ensuring optimal protection against corrosion. The core material, composed of epoxy and glass fiber, together with the weather sheds made of HTV silicone in a grey color, provides excellent insulation and durability.
The housing and core are chemically bonded, resulting in an interface strength that exceeds the tearing strength of the housing itself. Additionally, the sealing method utilized at the juncture between the end fitting and the core rod employs HTV silicone rubber, effectively eliminating conventional sealing defects.
Compliance with IEC61109 standards further guarantees that this polymer insulator meets the highest quality and safety requirements.
