The QFW Series Steam Turbine Generator is a highly efficient and reliable power generation solution designed for various industrial applications. Available in two models, the basic QF model features an air-cooled steam turbine generator, while the developed model is tailored to accommodate different drive machines through modifications in generator construction. This innovative generator utilizes a closed air circling cooling system, ensuring optimal performance with an air cooler strategically positioned beneath the generator frame’s air exit.

Constructed with a rotor made from complete steel forging, the QFW Series is equipped with axial flow or centrifuging fans at both ends, enhancing its cooling capabilities. The brushless excitation system eliminates the need for slip rings, reducing potential electrical disturbances and increasing operational reliability. This design minimizes maintenance requirements, as it avoids the common failures associated with worn contact points due to friction. Additionally, the use of static silicon control excitation further boosts the generator’s efficiency and longevity.
