Engineered for high performance, the SD/SDC series features self-exciting technology that allows for independent operation of welding and generating functions. They can be directly coupled or belt-driven by medium-speed petrol or diesel engines, as well as AC or DC motors. The output voltage for generating power is 230V AC, while the welding voltage does not exceed 80 volts, operating at either 50Hz or 60Hz. Custom voltage specifications can be designed upon request.

Designed with robust construction, the drip-proof, axial ventilation type generator has a cast iron frame with front and rear end covers for durability. The easy-access design allows for convenient installation of prime movers and maintenance through accessible brushers and slip rings.
