Description

The Series ZT muck truck is an essential supporting vehicle for locomotives, specifically designed for efficient slag transport in construction environments. This robust vehicle is primarily comprised of a bogie, frame, and slag hopper, ensuring durability and functionality.

The bogie serves as the running mechanism, featuring two bogies equipped with a side frame, crossbeam, wheel set, springs, and a braking system. This design allows for smooth directional changes and minimizes vibration during operation. Utilizing an exhaust braking mode, the muck truck’s braking force increases as system pressure decreases, providing effective stopping power.

The frame is securely bolted to the bogie’s core box for easy disassembly and features a shaft-pin traction connection device for seamless integration with locomotives. The slag hopper, which is not mechanically connected to the chassis, facilitates direct hoisting and easy unloading. Designed with rounded edges and corners, it minimizes slag residue while ensuring accurate placement on the frame through guide blocks. Additionally, the slag hopper is equipped with unloading pins on one side and both ends, allowing for versatile dumping options, including overhand hanger or ground support.
