Description

The Shanghai Metro Line One Extension is a state-of-the-art train designed for urban transit, featuring advanced engineering and robust specifications. This train operates on a gauge of 1435mm and is built to accommodate a maximum axle load of ≤16t. Its elevated catenary power supply operates on a DC1500V system, ensuring efficient energy use and reliability.

With a total length of 22800mm, a width of 3000mm, and a height of 3800mm, the train is designed for optimal aerodynamics and passenger comfort. It boasts a design speed of 90km/h and a maximum service speed of 80km/h, providing quick and efficient transit across the city. The train is capable of seating 384 passengers, with a total passenger capacity that can reach up to 3278 when fully utilized.

Engineered for performance, the train features a six-car marshalling system and a distance between bogie centers of 15700mm. Its wheelbase measures 2500mm, with a wheel diameter of Φ840mm for new wheels and Φ770mm for worn wheels. The train’s jerk limit is set at 0.75m/s³, ensuring a smooth ride for passengers.
