The ST Series Single Phase AC Synchronous Alternators are specifically designed to serve as reliable power generating units of small capacities. These generators provide electricity primarily for lighting purposes on ships as well as for household electric devices in towns and villages. Built with a drip-proof, salient pole rotating field, they ensure self-excitation and constant voltage, making them ideal for various applications.

Constructed using high-quality electro-magnetic and electrical materials, these alternators feature Class E (or B) stator insulation and Class B rotor insulation. Their excellent appearance, consolidated construction, and ease of maintenance make them a preferred choice. Complying with IEC standard dimensions, these generators are suitable for use in Australia, Europe, America, and other regions when equipped with model B end covers.

The ST Series alternators utilize a harmonic wave self-excitation constant voltage system along with an automatic voltage control system, ensuring outstanding dynamic performance characteristics and reliability during operation. They operate at a voltage of 230V or 115V (with options for 240V or 120V) and a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, designed for continuous duty.

These alternators can be coupled directly with a prime mover or via a V-belt, accommodating a 5% change in speed under load variations of 0-100% to maintain satisfactory constant voltage performance.
