Static Var Generator
Inquire NowDescription
The Static Var Generator (SVG) is engineered for environments where dynamic reactive power is prevalent and requires harmonic control. This innovative device primarily compensates for reactive power and manages three-phase imbalances, ensuring optimal performance and stability in electrical systems.
With support for low-capacity harmonic compensation across low orders (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) at 50% rated power, the SVG is capable of real-time dynamic stepless adjustments, eliminating concerns of overcompensation or undercompensation. Utilizing a current source mechanism, it effectively circumvents resonance issues and generates no harmonics while simultaneously absorbing them.
The SVG utilizes external current transformers (CT) to monitor load current in real-time. By calculating the reactive components and harmonics via an internal DSP, it produces PWM signals to control the inverter, thereby generating the necessary reactive power and low-order harmonic currents. This process enables efficient reactive power compensation and harmonic management.
