The Ministry of Education of Angola has embarked on a transformative project to construct 36 schools, driven by a partnership with the Export-Import Bank of China. This initiative aims to revitalize the educational landscape in Angola, a nation rich in resources yet historically challenged by turmoil. The project encompasses the construction of various educational institutions, including institutes of technology, middle schools, and the restoration of an agricultural college. With a total investment of RMB 240 million, this ambitious undertaking is structured in phases, ensuring quality and timely completion.
Phase one saw the establishment of 11 schools, incorporating modern equipment for over 60 labs and providing furniture for 162 classrooms and 130 offices. The project emphasizes high-quality construction, earning recognition and appreciation from both the Angolan government and supervising units. Following the success of the initial phase, the second phase will introduce an additional 15 schools, further enriching Angola’s educational offerings and fostering economic cooperation between China and Angola.
