Description
The 18AM series thermal protector is an essential device designed for current and temperature protection in various appliances. It operates on a dual-metal element mechanism that responds to temperature changes. When the heat generated by an appliance exceeds a predetermined threshold, the thermal protector’s dual-metal element quickly reacts, switching off the circuit to prevent overheating. Once the temperature drops back to a safe level, the element resets, allowing the circuit to resume operation. This device is compact, highly sensitive, and features excellent sealing, making it suitable for safety applications in small motors under 0.5 horsepower, transformers, rectifiers, batteries, and other appliances.
