Description

The Tinaco Anaco Railway of Venezuela is a groundbreaking infrastructure project designed to revolutionize transportation in the region. With a contract price of 7.5 billion US dollars, this ambitious undertaking is part of the “Framework agreement on Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela undertaking railway technical and investment cooperation.” Spanning a total length of 462.3 kilometers, the railway is poised to enhance connectivity and accessibility for both passengers and cargo.

Constructed by the China Railway Venezuela Branch with survey and design oversight by the China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group, this railway will operate at a projected speed of 220 kilometers per hour, making it the first high-speed railway in South America. It promises to deliver a convenient, affordable, and efficient transportation service, benefiting local communities and facilitating the movement of agricultural and industrial resources.
