CMC is at the forefront of international railway project contracting, showcasing remarkable achievements in the industry. Since 2005, the company has made significant strides by collaborating with both domestic and international partners. Notably, CMC successfully signed contracts for two sections of the Phase-II Ankara-Istanbul High Express Railway, valued at approximately US$1.27 billion. Spanning a total length of 158 kilometers and designed for speeds of up to 250 km/h, this project adheres to European standards and marks a major milestone for Chinese companies operating as general contractors in Turkey.

This landmark project not only symbolizes CMC’s successful entry into the European railway market but also represents a pivotal moment in Sino-European economic and trade relations.
