How it works: The alarm features a sensitive magnetic switch sensor that triggers the siren if the distance between the magnetic sensor and the alarm unit exceeds 10-20mm.
Before you begin: The batteries are pre-fitted, but a small plastic tab protects them. Remove this tab gently to ensure the alarm functions properly.
Arming the Alarm: The alarm includes a mode select switch with the following settings:
- OFF – The alarm is inactive.
- CHIME – Emits a chime if the magnetic contact is broken.
- ALARM – Emits a continuous alarm if the magnetic contact is broken.
