History & Background

SJR Machinery has a rich history that reflects its commitment to growth and innovation. Starting with just 12 employees and a modest 100m� office in 1999, the company achieved a turnover of USD 2.5 million in its first year. The following year, SJR Machinery restructured under the China Jiangsu International Group and began its rapid expansion. By 2002, the workforce grew to 20, and the office size increased to 200m�, with a turnover of USD 15 million. Key milestones included the establishment of a factory for Press Brakes, shearing machines, and rolling machines in 2003, and partnerships with international brands like Semyx USA for CNC waterjet cutting machines in 2008. The company expanded further by establishing its power press factory in 2010 and opening branches in Egypt and Toronto in 2012. In 2017, SJR Machinery invested 250 million Yuan in a new factory in Nantong, covering approximately 40,000 m�, to enhance production capabilities.
